Right out of the starting gate the President navigated a $700 plus spending and tax-cut bill through Congress. The TARP measure has eliminated the Bush monthly unemployment increases and is bringing an end to the Republican Administration’s “Great Recession” in a steady and responsible manner. It is also providing education funding, provided for interstate competition for higher quality education nation-wide, provided for the handicapped, the less advantaged, the poor and for middle-class and small business investment incentives. And he got it through Congress, despite much opposition from some elements of his own party!
Right out of the starting gate he repaired U.S. relations with the rest of the world, in conjunction with the best Secretary of State in my memory, Mrs. Hillary Rodham-Clinton so well that he was awarded the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize in his first year of this Presidency, joining the likes of Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, and organizations such as Doctors Without Borders! ‘Freedom Fries’ are once again called French Fries in the White House and the silly game-playing with our own closest allies and the remainder of the community of nations is over!
Right out of the starting gate he carried through with his promise to draw down in Iraq, and 100,000 troops are out, the combat mission IS over, and we will essentially be out of that illegal war, started with lies by the oil rich Cheney/Bush/Halliburton crowd, as cleanly as humanly possible by December 31 this year. And in Afghanistan, General McChrystal is out, Petraeus demoted, and the State Dept. has won the turf war that the Defense Department had well in hand under the Republicans. With Secretary Clinton’s approbation, and that of Barack, Ambassador Richard Holbrooke has enabled the situation to evolve in such a manner that PEACE TALKS are ongoing between the corrupt Hamid Karzai Administration installed by the previous Republican regime in Washington, opposition forces including those we formerly referred to as the Mujahedeen when the foreign aggressor was the Soviet Union[not the U.S., as at present], moderate elements of the Taliban—specifically NOT sick women-stoners like Mullah Omar and his twisted cronies--, the Huquanni Network within Pakistan--which is actually the crew protecting Osama Bin Laden and his small circle ensconced in the mountains along the Afghan/Pakistan border--and the Pakistani government. A Peace AGREEMENT in Afghanistan is a genuine hope for the Afghan people under the leadership of President Barack Obama as he navigates a situation which the previous administration created. He inherited the post 9/11(let’s not forget that the worst attack on the U.S. mainland occurred under the watch of the Republican Bush) world, including the Afghan war which was a stalemate after 7 long years. He inherited a Pakistan which Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Rice allowed to develop and deploy a nuclear arsenal, under a twisted ally called General Musharraf, and with a centuries old grudge and consistent warfare with its next-door nuclear neighbor India. OMG. Barack is handling this in an amazingly competent manner, indeed.
Right out of the starting gate, Barack reviewed U.S. nuclear strategy, and for the first time since the commencement of the Manhattan project during World War II, the official goal of the U.S. government is global nuclear disarmament, including our own nuclear disarmament. He successfully negotiated the START treaty with President Medvedev of Russia, had a successful summit right away, and then navigated it successfully through the Senate during the anything but lame lame-duck session of Congress last year. He knew that even certain Republicans knew that the new Republican numbers in the upcoming Senate would not vote for ratification, and got it done before the new Congress. This was pretty astute politicking on an issue of grave national security importance. In that same non-lame lame-duck session, he enhanced national security AND gave civil rights its biggest shot in the arm in decades by repealing the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy of organized anti-gay discrimination among the uniformed military services. Thank you President Obama!

Given the political climate, Barack’s perseverance and ‘never-say-die’ attitude about Health Care Reform resulted in the biggest change in not only health care provision, but also in domestic policy since Medicare was passed. Government option was not an option ever, given the party of “Hell-no’s” attitude of styming anything this President does or proposes, and the opposition of conservative Democrats. He got out of that Congress more than anyone could have possibly imagined! Congratulations on that one President Obama. And Vice President Biden: We agree, “This IS a big f@#*ing deal, Mr. President!”
With a political climate that the opposition has created, which honestly has more to do with the President’s skin color than with his policies, this President has done amazing things. Both he and Eric Holder in particular deserve praise for their sacrifices as people of color with families who are targeted by opponents and characterized as motivated by their pigmentation. Sickening. Thank you for your service Attorney General Holder, President Obama and to your wonderful families.
Let’s not forget that Attorney General Holder “held” Tony “Wayward” Hayward liable, and set up shop right next door to his headquarters in New Orleans during the BP spill with a big ol’ Justice Department logo right next door for the suits and ties to see as they came and went from their corporate headquarters. Let’s not forget that $20billion is already in hand for the damages done by BP! And let’s not forget that “Wayward” is now forced to reside in Putin’s Russia in order to escape the long arm of the Justice Department under Eric Holder and certain extradition if he returns to his native United Kingdom as a resident. Thank you Eric! And please keep in mind the absurd accusations made by the libelous Rupert Murdoch product, Fox News, that Eric Holder’s Justice Department dropped criminal charges against a few punks calling themselves “New Black Panthers” when in fact the charges were dropped before Barack Obama was even sworn into office by the preceding administration. Mr. Holder’s is anything but a skin-color conscious Justice Department, in fact is the most color-blind department in my memory.
And right out of the starting gate we have two brand new Democratic women on the U.S. Supreme Court. I agree Mr. President, being smart is not a disqualification for the bench. In fact I think you may be right, it might just be a good measuring stick, in fact. Thank you Mr. President!
And for what it’s worth, we have a White House with class again. It is nice having literate White House, with a library being utilized for its intended purpose. I like having a President who knows how to spell and pronounce ‘nuclear,’ and who invites Paul McCartney over to rock the House! And thank God for a President who has kicked the nicotine habit. And thanks to you Michelle Obama for helping him with this process and for your public education and advocacy for the public health, especially childhood obesity! What an awesome first lady! Please consider a run for office after Barack’s second term, Mrs. Obama! Please? And those kids, we’re letting them grow up fairly shielded, but we’re getting enough of a glimpse to see how beautiful they are and are growing, and how evident their awesome parenting is within the White House residential quarters. What a beautiful family to represent the nation.
Is Barack perfect? NO! Is he the best possible candidate for 2012? ABSOLUTELY!!!
I would like to address you personally for a moment Mr. President. If I could have your ear this is what I’d say. First, please continue with your agenda, and do not be distracted by labels such as ‘socialist,’ or birthers, or those who say you’re not a Christian, etc. The Party of Hell No is self-destructing. They are in their final post-Nixon death throes, I do believe. We will come out the other side the better, and with a new loyal opposition instead of the disloyal lot they’ve been since the crooks took over their party in 1968.
Second, continue to beware of the uniformed brass--the Joint Chiefs, Admiral Mullens, and especially General Petraeus. Do NOT trust them for one second, sir. Please. Trust the State Department over Defense whenever in doubt, sir, is advice you seem to be recognizing as legitimate at this point. Diplomacy will work in almost every case, sir. And please add some women to the leadership of the Defense Department in large numbers, both uniformed and civilian. This will help civil rights and national security in a big way.
And third sir, trial balloons have been floated of Hillary taking the Vice Presidential nomination in 2012, and Mr. Biden perhaps shifting to the State Department. A Clinton Vice Presidency, and a possible Hillary Rodham-Clinton Presidency in 2016 is just what the doctor ordered. With former President Clinton, Hillary, yourself and Michelle on the campaign trail the Democratic victory next year will be of landslide proportions both at the Electoral College level, and within Congress as well at all levels! And as Vice President, Hillary could accomplish much (not to disparage Mr. Biden’s awesome work) and be well situated to secure the Presidency for the 8 years following your own historic work as President, sir.
We did it in 2008. YES WE DID. We’ve done it since January 20th, 2009, sir. We stand ready for 2012.

So, re-elect President Obama in 2012. The short list of Obama achievements:
1) Ending the reign of terror that was Osama Bin Laden.
2) Ending Don't Ask Don't Tell- The official Defense Department policy of legal discrimination against gay and lesbian heros.
3) Negotiating and passing through the U.S. Senate the START treaty with Russia.
4) Passage of the highly successful $700billion TARP bill.
5) Passage of the first-step Health Care Reform Act of 2010.
6) Removing 100,000 of our bravest and best from harm's way in Iraq.
7) Getting a $20 billion down payment from BP before the spill was even over.
8) Intimidating Tony "Wayward" Hayward into resigning as the immoral head of BP, taking a demotion and hiding out in Putin's Russia to avert prosecution by Attorney General Eric Holder.
9) Naming 2 women in a row to the U.S. Supreme court with brains.
10) Having a brain himself as President, post-George Dubya Bush. Refreshing-huh?
